Active leaks, burst pipes, no hot water, sewer backups — we get there as fast as we can.
Tell us what's happening — we'll give you an honest timeline and what to do right now while you wait.
A burst pipe can release hundreds of gallons per hour. Every minute matters — water is actively entering walls, floors, and structural framing. Shut off the main and call immediately.
Standing water spreading through a room, water coming through a ceiling, or a supply line that won't stop — these are not wait-until-Monday problems. The longer it runs, the more it costs to repair.
Raw sewage backing up into tubs, toilets, or floor drains is a health hazard and a sign the main line is completely blocked. Stop using all fixtures immediately and call us.
Especially urgent for households with young children, elderly residents, or medical needs that depend on reliable hot water. A failed water heater can also indicate a leak or gas issue that needs prompt attention.
If you smell gas near your water heater, hear unusual popping or hissing, or see the pilot going out repeatedly, treat it as an emergency. Ventilate the space and call from outside the home if you suspect a gas leak.
One backed-up toilet becomes an emergency when it's the only one in the home, or when multiple toilets are backing up simultaneously — a sign of a main line blockage affecting the entire system.
Find the main shutoff valve and turn it off. In Arizona, the shutoff is typically near the water meter at the street — look for a rectangular metal cover set into the ground near the curb. Turn the valve clockwise until it stops. This alone can prevent thousands of dollars in additional damage.
Once the water is off, your water heater should stop heating. If it keeps running with no incoming water, it can overheat and fail — or worse, cause a pressure buildup. Switch the unit to pilot mode (gas) or flip the breaker (electric) until the water is back on and the system is verified intact.
If you suspect a sewer backup, stop using everything immediately — toilets, sinks, showers, washing machine. The sewer line has nowhere to send the water, and anything you add will push sewage further into the drain system and potentially into your home. Hold off until we've assessed the line.
Take photos and short videos of affected areas before cleanup begins — flooring, walls, cabinets, the fixture or pipe that failed. This documentation is often required for homeowners insurance claims and helps us understand the scope of the situation before we arrive.
We tell you when we can realistically get there — not a number designed to keep you from calling someone else. If we're tied up on another job, we'll say so. If we can be there in an hour, we'll say that too. You deserve an accurate expectation, not a placeholder.
Emergency rates are disclosed upfront — before we dispatch. We tell you what the call will cost, what the after-hours rate covers, and what any repair work will run before a wrench turns. No surprise invoice when the situation is already stressful enough.
An emergency doesn't change our standards. We fix what needs fixing and stop there. If we find something else while we're in the wall or under the sink, we'll show you and tell you your options — but we don't expand the scope without your explicit approval.
Emergency calls carry a higher starting rate due to after-hours availability and dispatch priority. This covers the service call itself — repair labor and parts are quoted separately and approved before work begins.
The after-hours emergency rate applies for calls outside Mon–Fri 7am–6pm and Sat 8am–4pm. Calls during regular business hours are handled at standard rates, even when the situation is urgent.
We tell you the rate before we come out. If the emergency rate doesn't work for your situation, we'll tell you what we can do during regular hours and what you can do in the meantime to limit further damage. We'd rather be straight with you than show up and surprise you on the invoice.
The faster you act, the less damage you deal with. Call us now — we'll tell you honestly what we can do and when we can get there.
